The National Weather Service is offering Storm spotter Training on February 2, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at the Arnold Recreation Center.

Applications will be accepted beginning February 20 at 9:00 am for Group and Private Lessons. Available for all ages and skill levels. To register, call Teresa at 636-282-6686.

Fitness Classes

Registration will open February 20 for 8-week Adult Fitness classes that begin at Arnold Recreation Center.

Cost for YogaSilver Sneakers, and Senior Strength & Balance classes is $56 for Rec Center members and $64 for non-members.

NEW! Advanced Yoga Flow class will be available on Saturdays at 8:00 am.

Aqua Aerobics Classes will have open registration beginning February 27.

Arnold Chamber Of Commerce Member Lunch

Register now for the Member Lunch on February 21, 2023, 12:00 pm at Wesley Roger's Steak & Buffet in Arnold. All Arnold Chamber of Commerce Monthly Meetings will now be at lunchtime.

Registration fee is $15 per person.

25th Annual Poetry Contest

Participate in the 25th Annual Poetry Contest at the Jefferson County Library, Arnold Branch!

Poems must be submitted to the JCL Arnold Branch by Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 8:00 pm.

Snowmen Scavenger Hunt Winners

Wesley Roger's Steak and Buffet restaurant won the Arnold Chamber of Commerces annual Snowman Scavenger Hunt. They received a prize package worth $300. The restaurant recieved 197 of the approximately 1,100 votes cast.

The Jefferson College Arnold Campus won second place and the Wally Lionbergers American Family Insurance Agency won third place. EXIT Elite Realty and New Hope United Methodist Church received honorable mentions.

Scavenger hunt participants also competed for prizes by taking photos with the snowman displays. Karen Spink of Arnold took home the top prize, a Kindle Fire. Nineteen additional participants received $25 gift cards to area restaurants.

Be Prepared For Inclement Weather

Safe driving during winter storm events is important to the City of Arnold. When there is a winter storm event, the City’s emergency plans are put into effect by the Department of Public Works Director.

"Back The Blue" Trivia Night

Enjoy a night of fun at the 2nd Annual Arnold "Back The Blue" Trivia Night on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the Arnold Eagles Club (1725 Jeffco Blvd). Doors open at 6:00 pm with the first question at 7:00 pm.

There will be a special Arnold "Back the Blue" theme with a variety of trivia categories to include some Arnold history. This charity event raises funds for the Arnold "Shop With A Hero" program (formerly "Shop With A Cop"), APOA Officer Benevolent Fund, and the Backstoppers of Jefferson County.

Pickleball

Drop in at the Arnold Rec Center on Mondays from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm,  Wednesdays from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm, and Fridays from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm for a game of Pickleball! Paid Memberships have FREE entry, Non-members $6, and Seniors $5.

Pickleball is a combination of ping pong, a bit of tennis, and a splash of badminton! No need to bring any equipment and registration is not required.
