INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

Join us Saturday, July 2, for the Arnold Independence Day celebration! There will be lots of activities for the whole family to enjoy!

Where: Arnold City Park, 2400 Bradley Beach Road, Arnold, MO.

When: Saturday, July 2, 5:00 – 11:00 pm

Food Vendors – 5:00 – 11:00 pm

Bubble Extravaganza – 5:00 – 7:00 pm

Balloon Artist – 5:00 – 7:00 pm

Free Face Painting - 5:00 – 8:00 pm

Train Ride for Little Ones – 5:00 – 9:00 pm

Eating Contest for Adults – 6:15 pm

Eating Contest for Kids – 6:30 pm

3 Leg Race & Balloon Toss – 6:40 pm

Mayor's Unveiling of the City of Arnold 50th Anniversary Showpiece - 7:30 pm

Live Band! Wildfire – 7:00 – 11:00 pm

Fireworks – around 9:30 pm

50TH CELEBRATION BOOK GIVE AWAY

A commemorative book marking the 50th anniversary of the City of Arnold will be available Saturday, July 2, during the Independence Day Celebration. The city will give away the 68-page book for free during the event at Arnold City Park.

The city and the Leader teamed up to produce the book, which is filled with images from the last five decades, after Beck, Flamm City, Maxville, Old Town Arnold, Tenbrook and Wickes merged in 1972 to create the city.

LITTLE KICKERS

Arnold Parks & Recreation Department is offering a co-ed recreational “Little Kickers” Soccer Program for children ages 3 – 7. Registration will begin July 5, at 9:00 am.

Cost is $80 per child for 8 weeks of fun! Practice will be held at Pomme Creek Park.

ARNOLD FARMERS MARKET

Join us at the Arnold Farmers Market rain or shine from 8:00 am - Noon every Saturday through October 22! Located at Arnold City Park, 2400 Bradley Beach Rd, Arnold, MO 63010.

Over 40 vendors display their products for sale and provide plenty of opportunities for attendees to enjoy breakfast and a hot cup of coffee.

DIVE IN MOVIE NIGHT

Get excited! It's a great time to be a Member at the Arnold Recreation Center!

Join us July 16, 7:00 - 10:00 pm, for a Dive in Movie night! Guests can enjoy swimming in the outdoor pool while watching Moana!

Members are free and may bring a guest for $6. Hot dogs, popcorn, and water will be provided for FREE.

It's not too late to sign up for a Membership and enjoy all the amenities at the Arnold Recreation Center. Call 636-282-6649 for additional information.

NATIONAL ICE CREAM DAY

Celebrate National Ice Cream Day at the Arnold Recreation Center outdoor pool!

Sunday, July 17, Noon - 6:00 pm

Members will receive FREE ice cream and toppings with entry to the outdoor pool! Non-members will receive ice cream with the purchase of admission. Stop by while supplies last!

Thru July 31, Kids & Teens

Kids & Teens can Explore Reading this summer by participating in the Jeffco Library Summer Reading Program!

In addition to learning more about the world around us, each participant can earn fun prizes, vote for a local charity to receive a donation from Jeffco Library, and earn a chance to be entered into drawings for larger prizes at the end of the summer.
