How Our City Works

Learn how our city operates and check out our newly renovated Public Works Complex! Stop by 2912 Arnold Tenbrook Road on Saturday, August 6, from 10:00 am - Noon. We will be happy to see you!

Several Public Works trucks will be available for viewing as well as a Rock Fire District truck, City of Arnold Police Cruiser, and much more! Police Dog Demo and Drone Demo as well!

Snow cones and snacks will be available for purchase.

Water Colored Rush

Join us August 13, at the Pecan Pavilion in Arnold City Park from 2:00 - 4:00 pm!

Have fun creating your own masterpiece with provided squirt toys. Adult supervision is required. Cost is $6 per participant.

Registration is required. Please register by August 11 at 636-282-2380 ext. 1411.

Outdoor Pool Party

Join us August 13, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm, for a fun-filled night!

Members are FREE and are welcome to bring guests for $6 a person. Free hotdogs, water, and popcorn will be offered.

Salsa Festival At The Arnold Farmers Market

Join us at the Arnold Farmers Market Saturday, August 13, rain or shine, from 8:00 am - Noon at Arnold City Park, 2400 Bradley Beach Rd, Arnold, MO 63010.

Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be awarded as well as a 50th Anniversary Medallion commemorating the City of Arnold's 50th Birthday. Salsa must contain some form of tomato and any other safe digestible ingredients. In addition, there will be a heaviest tomato contest with prize as well.

Join us for an Adult Luncheon featuring an Elvis tribute artist at the Arnold Recreation Center on Monday, August 22, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm!

Cost is $10 per person and pre-registration is required. No refunds will be offered.

Water Tower Palooza

The City of Arnold is celebrating our 50th Anniversary Year with a Water Tower Photo Palooza!

To participate, entrants hunt for a series of 10 "mini" Arnold Water Towers that have been placed around the City. Clues about their locations have been posted to the Arnold Parks and Recreation Facebook page and on the City’s website.

Post a picture of yourself with each tower in the comments section of its Facebook clues post for a chance to win a prize!

Arnold Recreation Center is offering August swim lessons as 3-week sessions and private sessions to accommodate family vacations and school openings. Registration is open!

Sun: Noon - 3:30 pm

Little Splashers: Fri - 10:00 am - Noon

Free Senior Swim: Fri - 10:00 am - Noon

Indoor Pool Hours of Operation:

Mon - Thu: 5:30 am - 7:00 pm

Fri: 5:30 am - 3:30 pm

Sat: 7:00 am - 5:30 pm

Sun: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm

Note Indoor Pool Rules: For lap swimming during open swim, children under 14 must have an adult swimming in the same section at all times and must be swimming or exercising at all times. Playground area is unavailable during this time.

Outdoor Pool

The outdoor pool is open until September 5.

Beat the heat at the Arnold Recreation Center Outdoor Pool! Open from 11:00 am for members and 11:30 am for the general public until 7:00 pm. Members are free, Seniors 55+ are $5, kids 4 and under are free. All other attendees are $6.

Concessions will be offered from Noon - 6:00 pm.

Pickleball

Drop in at the Arnold Rec Center on Mondays from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm or Wednesdays from 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm for a game of Pickleball! Paid Memberships have FREE entry, Non-members $6, and Seniors $5.

Pickleball is a combination of ping pong, a bit of tennis, and a splash of badminton! No need to bring any equipment and registration is not required.

Yellow Heart Memorial

The Yellow Heart Memorial is a place to honor and remember Jefferson County Residents who have died from COVID-19.

The Yellow Heart Memorial is located at Arnold Recreation Center (1695 MO State Road, Arnold, MO 63010).

Photo Contest

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources is accepting entries for its annual photography contest through October 1.

The contest includes three categories: natural resources, unique places, and people enjoying the outdoors.
