Heart of Christmas
The City of Angleton is pleased to announce that the Heart of Christmas Celebration will take place on Saturday, December 3rd, from 6 PM to 9 PM in the heart of Angleton! While the event may look a bit different from past years, we’re excited to share the plans for the evening and look forward to giving this wonderful gift to the community. Here are the highlights of the evening.
Location: at 6 PM, The Tree lighting ceremony will begin at Veteran's Park with a presentation by the AISD third-grade choir. Mayor Jason Perez will light the tree and kick off the evening's festivities.
Immediately following the tree-lighting ceremony, Santa will be ready to hear the wishes of your little ones and for you to snap a picture with your phone. At the same time, the fun will begin in the large parking lot across the street, where there will be community booths giving away goodies, rides, and games for the kids, face painters, AND....the newest attraction this year - A SNOW TENT! All of the attractions are FREE!
Not to leave the "kids at heart" out, we'll have The Lost Shaker of Salt Band playing on the stage and invite all our "parrot heads" to grab their lawn chairs for a great concert under the night sky.
Join us on Saturday, December 3rd, for the Heart of Christmas Celebration, where the spirit of the season will be alive and well in Angleton, Texas!
