The City Nature Festival was established to celebrate the City Nature Challenge - a global bioblitz that takes place every year.

10:00 AM - 2:00 PM: City Nature Festival Open House, includes tabling from event partners: Natural History Museum of Utah, Tracy Aviary, Utah's Hogle Zoo, USFWS Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge, Salt Lake City Mosquito Abatement, (Free, no registration required)

12:30 PM - Canoe with Jordan River Commission
1:00 PM - Presentation: Vertebrates (Utah's Hogle Zoo)
1:30 PM - Vertebrate walk (Utah's Hogle Zoo)

- On-site parking is free for this event.
- This is event is primarily outdoors. Come prepared to explore urban trails at the newly expanded Pia Okwai site!
