Waking Bear is a high vibe, indie rock band from Olympia, Washington putting out high-frequency originals and uplifting audiences into joy and love. Waking Bear shows are a celebration, a ceremony of gratitude for this life. Through original songs and occasional stories, Waking Bear transmits happiness, playfulness, authenticity and will leave you smiling and crying with joy for life. Waking Bear was founded in 2018 and their first full-length album, Trust Fall, released in early 2021. This heartfelt album weaves together themes of trusting the universe, in something greater than ourselves, and that all is working out for the highest good. Waking Bear songs take you on an emotional journey into the heart, through the good times and the bad, leaving listeners feeling inspired to live life to the fullest. "Waking Bear" means coming out of emotional hibernation, expanding self-awareness, and awakening to the deep love and joy that is available to all of us. May we all tune our hearts to this frequency and live in celebration and gratitude for life.

4-6:30 PM: The Pine Hearts
Guitarist Clint Dye is a fairly recent addition to the Seattle Irish music community. His great musicality, rhythm, and style have made him very welcome in sessions and concerts around the Northwest. Clint got his start playing traditional Irish music by accompanying step dancers and singers in the Busch Gardens show Celtic Fyre in Williamsburg, VA. During this time, he began to cut his teeth in Irish music sessions and work in small groups. He has appeared at numerous festivals and events on the east coast and since relocating to Seattle has worked with several local bands.

7-10 PM: Waking Bear
The Pine Hearts are totally rad! They're one of the best new bands on the scene. The singing, picking and songwriting is fabtastic and organic. Two thumbs up!" -- Charles Humphrey III (Songs From The Road Band) Just beneath the eaves of Washington's Cascade Mountains, The Pine Hearts are combining wood, ore and soul to channel the colossal, organic spirit of the untamed Pacific Northwest. Their sound, like the environment around them, is ever-changing, harnessing classic country songwriting, the powerful emotive themes of experimental folk, and the blazing-fast pickin' rhythms of traditional Appalachian bluegrass -- all the while staying rooted to their rock-n-roll backgrounds.
