Center Theatre for the Performing Arts - We're Back and the Movie Schedule is Filling Up!

Arts and Entertainment

From: Center Theatre for the Performing Arts

Hello fans and friends of the Center Theatre,

We had a quiet week to clean the carpets and get some work done and now we're back. And just in time for National Cinema Day - tomorrow, Saturday September 3rd! All movies all day will be $3 - so come down to see Top Gun: Maverick or Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. Or with tickets only $3, see them both.

Just to prove we didn’t take this week off, we’ve confirmed some great movies. Starting September 2nd is Beast with Idris Elba and The Invitation. Then on September 9th, Idris Elba is back with Tilda Swinton in Three Thousand Years of Longing. We’re also happy to say that our High School Afterschool Program will be starting back up on Monday, September 12th and we’re working with SeDoMoCha on some afterschool Theater programs.

Looking ahead a bit, you can mark September 24th on your calendar. One of our board members, Dani Buschmann, will be trapped on our roof deck (rain or shine) until we raise $1,000. You can watch it all happen on our livestream on the 24th. Here’s a link for more information. Then that evening at 7pm, The Old Blues Kats are on stage thanks to the Wayside Grange Concert Series. It will be a great day!!

Enjoy the start of Fall and hopefully we’ll see you soon at the Center Theatre.

Thanks for all your support,

-Patrick
