Center Theatre for the Performing Arts - The New Projector Is Up And Running!

Arts and Entertainment

October 17, 2022

From: Center Theatre for the Performing Arts

Hello fans and friends of the Center Theatre,

It finally happened! After almost a year of manufacturing delays, our new Barco Laser projector is up and running in the big theater!

If you’re very observant, you’ll notice the picture is a bit crisper and brighter. But most of the improvements aren’t something you can see from the auditorium. The new projector is much quieter, uses much less electricity, and doesn’t require $600 bulbs every year. We’re thrilled to finally have it and looking forward to showing Halloween Ends with it this weekend!

We’re also looking forward to some great events in the next few months. One new one that you may not have heard about yet is our first ever Center Theatre Lip Sync Battle on November 18th. You can vote for your favorite act or register to compete to win the $500 prize! All the details are here on the webiste.

And we’re not quite halfway through our October Calendar raffle. All the items are listed here https://www.centertheatre.org/october-calendar-raffle and your one $15 ticket will give you a chance to win any and all of the remaining prizes. Thanks to everyone who has donated prizes and bought tickets already, it is much appreciated!

Thanks and see you at the Theatre!
