Saturday, July 2, 2022

8:00 a.m: The Firecracker Golf Scramble at Artesia Country Club
Play golf and help fund Artesia's fireworks show. Gather a team of four and sign up today for a great time on the green.  Don't forget to come out to fireworks on Monday to see what your registration fees funded

12:00 p.m: Big Rig Truck Rodeo at Artesia Training Academy
Ages 18+ have the opportunity to drive the big rigs. There will be driving challenges throughout the day. Scholarship Raffle tickets available. It’s a 5-week program and is a $4,500 Value, Tickets are $20 each. Free hamburger and hot dog Cookout

9:00 a.m: 4 V 4 Volleyball Tournament
Head to Jaycee Park for Saturday's volleyball tournament. Players need to sign a waiver to participate. Registration begins at 8:00 AM and play starts at 9:00 AM.

Monday, July 4, 2022

8:00 a.m: Star Spangled Dash
Join the fun at a red, white, and blue color run. Held at Jaycee Park in Artesia, there will be a 5K and a 10K run. Registration groups include adults, kids and teens between 6 and 17, and children under 5. The proceeds will benefit Changing Lives Coalition, Inc., a local non-profit specializing in youth outreach.

4:00 p.m: Top Dog Cornhole Tournament
Calling all cornhole masters as well as family/kid teams. Tournaments will begin at 4 pm at Jaycee Park. There will be a non-competitive bracket that is $30 (per team of 2) and a competitive/advanced bracket that is $40 (per team of 2).

9:00 a.m: 4th of July Parade
It's not Independence Day without a Downtown Cruise. The route will begin at the Bulldog Bowl parking lot and will loop around Eagle Draw Park. Participants are encouraged to meet at the Bulldog Bowl at 8:30 AM. The parade will start at 9 AM.

9:00 p.m: Fireworks
Artesia's annual fireworks show is a local favorite and huge hit for all ages. Celebrate the Fourth and come out to Jaycee Park at sundown to enjoy the show. We recommend parking in the south lot adjacent to the park and walking to your spots to enjoy the show. Donations welcome! Every dollar goes to making this year's fireworks better than ever.
