What other town should stake claim to the best 4th of July Celebration than a town named after our nation’s fame? 2022 is the 21st anniversary of events being held in Riverwalk Parks!

Celebrate Indee is held over the 3rd and 4th of July in Independence, Iowa with an array of musical entertainment, activities for people of all ages, great food, drink, and Iowa’s most awesome and awe inspiring fireworks over the beautiful Wapsipinicon River in Independence, you will not be disappointed.

Join us this year on July 3rd and 4th as we celebrate our 21st year!

If the 4th falls on a Sunday, Celebrate Indee will take place on the 2nd-3rd.

Events at Riverwalk Parks over the 3rd and 4th of July are organized by Celebrate Indee and its volunteer committee.

This event is free to the public of all ages.  No outside food/beverage, sparklers/fireworks, or solicitation. Service animals welcomed.
