MSAC seeks panelists to evaluate County Arts Development and Network Organizational Development grant applications

MSAC is seeking panelists to evaluate applications to its County Arts Development (CAD) and Network Organizational Development (NOD) programs, both of which provide funding supporting a strong, stable arts infrastructure in Maryland.

CAD panelists will review applications submitted in the FY 2024 funding cycle. All selected panelists will be expected to:

- Familiarize with the CAD program, which provides funding and resources to Maryland’s 24 county arts agencies
- Evaluate one round of CAD applications, with evaluations due in May 2023
- Conduct in-depth evaluations of individual applicants, as assigned
- Attend a required virtual orientation in mid-October
- Receive compensation of $350-$450, depending on the volume of scheduled assignments

NOD panelists will serve a one-year term. All selected panelists will be expected to:

- Familiarize with the NOD program, which funds efforts to increase long-term stability, effectiveness, or visibility for Maryland’s Arts & Entertainment District management entities, county arts agencies, and regional folklife centers
- Evaluate three rounds of NOD applications, with evaluations due in October 2022, January 2023, and April 2023
- Attend a required virtual orientation in mid-October, with additional check-in meetings scheduled based on panelist needs
- Receive compensation of $650, assuming the completion of all scheduled assignments
