We Need Summer Volunteers

Help us inspire, engage and connect our community to keep reading and learning this summer! If you are 14 years of age or older and interested in helping out the community and building job skills, join us for a volunteer information session.

Volunteers duties may include:

Shelving

Assisting with Programs

Technology Assistance

Inspire a Love of Reading

Much More!

To volunteer, you must attend a volunteer session (pizza will be served). Find a session on our online calendar.

Did you know reading 20 minutes a day will help you build a lifelong habit of reading?

The Buckeye Public Library System is excited to inspire, engage and connect kids and adults alike with the national Summer Reading Program in partnership with Maricopa County Library District. This program is designed to keep everyone reading during summer.

Registration begins May 1.

The Museum is Taking a Break

The Buckeye Valley Museum is taking a much deserved break over summer. 

It will close Thursday, June 1, and will remain closed through August.

The Buckeye Valley Museum will reopen Wednesday, September 6.
