From: Brookfield Library

Dear Friends,

Summer may not officially start until June 21, but at The Brookfield Library it’s heating up with lots of fun and educational programs throughout the month of June.

We are so excited to bring you 2022’s One Town, One Read.  You were given three choices to vote on and the winning book will be revealed on June 13!  Along with a book giveaway, we have a full slate of programs to celebrate: from book clubs to craft programs to talks with experts.  Look for our list of events which will also be released on June 13.

Our epic Summer Reading Program kicks off on June 16 with a luau!  Miss Debbie and Miss Meg have an amazing summer of activities and prizes planned that you will not want to miss.  Miss Abbey will have programs for teens, too, so everyone can get in on the fun!

Concerts are back this summer, starting with the return of the very popular Rhonda Denet on June 26 with From Jazz to Soul: Ella to Aretha.  We will also be having a special Juneteenth Celebration on June 12 with Abdou Sarr, a dancer from Senegal.

June 12 will also be our last open Sunday until Fall!
