With music & lyrics by the sensational Dolly Parton, and based on the blockbuster comedy film of the same name, 9 to 5 is a rollicking good time surrounding three hapless women who scheme to take revenge on their obnoxious, overbearing boss. Broadway Meets Motown was The Strand’s most popular concert of its proprietary Broadway On Main series! It’s sequel Motown & More sold out, too. Motown 3 sold out weeks before the show dates! So we thought, “how much longer can we possibly milk this one?”. The decision was, at least one more time!

In 1923, Walt & Roy O. Disney launched a small company that would go on to create some of the most beloved and iconic animated films of all time. We’re excited to share in that celebration with this concert that showcases the music of these legendary films.

From Snow White to Moana, from Fantasia to Frozen, from Cinderella to Coco, the song book from these immortal pictures is as iconic as the films themselves! Join us for this centennial celebration of the music of your favorite films by the copyrighted corporation which must not be named!

We’ve been hitting the Christmas & Easter holidays pretty hard the last few years, so we decided it was time to come back to another, more chilling season, Halloween! We are enthusiastically eager to bring everyone’s favorite human-eating, alien plant to The Strand stage! Little Shop of Horrors features songs that you know and love and the classic storyline of a nerdish flower shop clerk who gets back at his bullies and wins the hand of the fair Audrey in unique, carnivorous fashion!

Romance is in the Air with This Broadway Due

Libby Servais (Wicked & The Strand’s Heroes & Villains) and Stephen Stubbins (Mary Poppins) are a real-life Broadway couple touring this concert, and showcasing the many love songs from Broadway. But, in true Strand fashion, they are customizing their show just for our audiences, and 'spreading the love' across the generations. Libby & Stephen are newlyweds who just had their first child. They'll be joined on stage by a local couple that’s enjoyed a long, successful marriage and another just starting their lives together.
