There are many ways to celebrate Native American Heritage Month. The Brewster Ladies' Library will have specially curated displays and book lists in adult and youth literature and film throughout the month. You can also check out events and initiatives with the National Parks Service, The Library of Congress, the Mashpee Wampanoag Museum, the Massachusetts Center for Native American Awareness, and more.
On Saturday, October 22nd the Brewster Ladies' Library Association hosted its annual Nickerson Memorial Lecture with distinguished speaker, Bob Woodward. There were eight hundred people in attendance. You can read more about the event in The Cape Cod Chronicle by clicking HERE.
