7:00 pm: EOTS Melodrama

Friday, July 1st, 2022

9:00 am: Mini-Madness Softball Tournament - Cost is $125 per team. Contact Kellie Mills at 435-979-4184 or email [email protected] to register

5:30 pm: Shane Warenski Memorial Midnight Madness Softball Tournament / Located at the Old High School Baseball Fields. One-pitch co-ed tournament lasts all night & finishes “by dawn's early light”. Tournament cost is $275 per team (max 24 teams), and registration starts June 1 and  must be received by June 25. Contact Jens Nielson at 435-459-2053 or email [email protected] to register.

Saturday, July 2nd, 2022

9:00 am: Horseshoe Tournament - Located at Centennial Park
- Sign up starts at 8:30am, Starts at 9:00am.
Sign up at the event $20 per team first come first serve. (max of 24 teams)
- Each team will need to provide their own horseshoes

9:30 am: Diving for Dollars
Age Groups: 4&5, 6&7, 8&9, 10&11

10:00 am: Scales & Tails - A 45 minute educational show with 15 minutes of animal handling afterward. Scales & Tales will have large lizards, snakes, turtles, and a young alligator or crocodile. Also included will be spiders, scorpions, and more for a total of 10 animals. The event is hosted by the Blanding Library and will take place at the Central Park north of the library at 10:00 am

10:00 am: Indoor SJH 6-on-6 Volleyball Tournament - Located at the Wellness Center Gym. Cost is $120 per team and $15 per additional player. Sign Up Here

3:00 pm: Picture-it-Palmer “Pressure is a Privilege” Documentary The first showing will be Saturday, July 2nd at the San Juan Theater at 3:00 pm. During this showing, donations are welcome to help cover the cost of production. The Documentary highlights the SJH historic basketball season!

5:00 pm: ATV Poker Run: To register each participant will sign a waiver and pay a $25 fee per hand administrative and processing fee (cash only). Once registered the participant will receive their first card and is welcome to hit the trail. Ride along the trails to collect a hand of cards to enter a drawing with some awesome prizes! Contestants must sign up at Edge of the Cedars parking lot at 5:00 pm. Contact Josh at 435-459-9676 for more details.

5:00 pm: JackPot Horse Games - Located at Lynn
Stevens Arena, 1140 North Blue Mtn Rd. Free admission.

6:30 am: 5K Run (1 Mile Fun Run at 7:15 am) - Located at Centennial Park. San Juan Cross Country presents the Firecracker 5k; start and end at Centennial Park. Contact Race Director Holly Walker at [email protected] for more details. Register online at www.runnercard.com

8:00 am: Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast - Join Mayor Monson for a special patriotic program with guest speaker Lt. Governor Deidre Henderson. Music provided by youth from the community. Held at Centennial Park

10:00 am: Independence Day Parade
Theme: “United We Stand”. Grand Marshals
Jason Workman Memorial Motorcycle Ride - Riders will kick off the parade preceding the color guard. Parade Route: High School - Main Street - 500 South. Lineup at 9:00 am. Questions contact Nikki Safrit or Kim Baker - [email protected] - [email protected]

11:00 am: Booths, Food & Fun - Immediately following the Parade - Savor some of the area’s best foods, enjoy games, and buy craft items from local vendors. To sign up for a booth, click on the link at the bottom of the page, or click HERE.

11:15 am: Kids Games - A plethora of challenges, races, water games, and activities for the kiddos!  

Noon: Quilters Guild - Event will be located at the Wellness Center from Noon-3:00pm

1:00 pm: Picture-it-Palmer “Pressure is a Privilege” Documentary. The 2nd and 3rd showings will be at the USU Blanding Arts and Events Center on Monday, July 4th. The first showing of the day will start at 1:00 pm and the second showing will start at 4:00 pm. Admission for these showings will be $5 for children under the age of 12 and $10 per person over the age of 12. There will be concessions available for purchase. The Documentary highlights the SJH historic basketball season!

4:00 pm: Stan Bronson - Down From The Mountain Concert
San Juan High Auditorium. General admittance tickets on sale at the door beginning at 3:00 pm. $10 age 21 and up. $5 age 20 and under.

5:00 pm: Dinner in the Park - Food Vendors will be serving dinner and snacks before the concert.

7:00 pm - 10:00 pm: Concert in the Park - Located at Centennial Park - Free Admission

10:00 pm: FIREWORKS Show - Located at Centennial Park. This is a can’t-miss display of one of Utah’s best firework shows!
