Live Bird Show with the Medina Raptor Center

Join us on Wednesday, October 5 at 6:15 p.m. for a live bird
program presented by the Medina Raptor Center,a non-profit raptor rehabilitation center. This program for all ages will highlight several different raptor species, the natural history of birds of prey, the unique and vital roles they play in our ecosystems, and the increasing importance of preserving the habitats needed to sustain viable populations. Grab your dinner at the Erie Express Dining Car, which will be at the Library before the show.

Ghosts!

Is the Library haunted? On Saturday, October 22 at 2:00 p.m., the Spectral Hunters Investigation Team will share with us how they prepare for their investigations, what type of gear they use, and show us some of their evidence. Do you believe in ghosts?

The Spectral Hunters Investigation Team was formed over five years ago and has grown from three to 12 members in this brief time. Members of the team have decades of experience investigating paranormal activity. See their Facebook page for more information and see some of their work.

Later, at 7:00 p.m. head over to the stone stairs near the corner of W. Lake Ave and 3rd St. NW at Lake Anna for a live investigation with the Spectral Hunters Investigation Team as they use their techniques to examine the steps. You may wish to bring your own flashlight and comfortable shoes.
