The Backcountry Film Festival is a year-round, community program presented by Winter Wildlands Alliance that celebrates human-powered, backcountry-inspired stories rooted in wild snowscapes, stewardship and stoke.

Join Discover Your Forest in Bend, Sunriver, and Sisters for the 2024 Backcountry Film Festival. We will have films, drinks, prizes, and fun!

February 29, 2024

Doors open: 6:00 pm

Films start: 7:00 pm

Intermission is at 8:15 pm with the films ending at 10:30.

March 2, 2024

Doors open at 6:00 pm,

Films start at 6:30 pm and end at 9:00 pm.

March 3, 2024

Doors open 6:15 pm

Films start at 6:45 and end at 9:00 pm.

We have some awesome raffle prizes to give away during the event. Raffle tickets will be available. ALL funds from this event go directly towards helping “Discover Your Forest” maintain free, outstanding hands-on conservation education for thousands of Central Oregon’s youth, and will help us grow our reach to underserved

communities by purchasing adaptive equipment and support to insure that all people, regardless of their ability or identity can experience the thrill of the outdoors. 

With a limited amount of tickets available, interested parties should grab theirs now! If space allows, we will have a very limited amount of tickets available at the door. Let’s enjoy some amazing films together, and raise money for an incredible cause!
