Kids Games, Candy, and Crafts from 1-3pm.

On Saturday, October 22, from 9 am - 3 pm, Cornerstone United Methodist Church will host a community-wide Autumn Acres Festival. This event will feature a senior health fair, crafts booths, food trucks, and afternoon ”autumn-candy-treating” (like trick-or-treating) for youngsters. The church is located near the corner of Hwy 34 and Sharpsburg-McCollum Road at Thomas Crossroads, Newnan.

The day will offer activities for all age groups. The church is providing craft spaces, and food trucks will be on the church campus. Starting at 1:00pm, youngsters are invited to enjoy autumn-candy-treating beneath the church's pavilion.

“This community event,” said Pastor Brian Germano, “will be a great chance for children, families, and adults of all ages to have fun, buy and make gifts, and learn together. The 'autumn-candy-treating', games, and crafts will be especially geared towards families and children, the health booths are geared to help seniors help learn how to age gracefully in place/in their homes, and the food trucks should appeal to everyone. We’re excited to offer this opportunity to our community.”

Assigned spaces will be 10 ft. x 12 ft. Non-profit organizations are invited to participate free of charge. For all others, $25.00 is the suggested donation. Vendor setup will begin at 7 AM, with the event running from 9 AM – 3 PM. We request that all vendors remain at the site throughout the entire event.
