In November, our winter resident birds begin to move in. Keep an eye out for Dark-eyed juncos. These common sparrows come south from their summer home north of the Great Lakes and delight us in the winters. Watch for Kinglets high in the tree tops as they fly south to warmer zones. Come and see our new wheelchair accessible boardwalk in Muskrat Marsh! It is 800 linear feet of winding boardwalk through a beautiful marsh habitat and connecting directly with the paved Cardinal Trail and our main farm-center trail, Warbler Way.
