Summer Reading
We hope you are having a wonderful summer.  It's been busy at the Library.  142 kids signed up for the Summer Reading challenge, 307 people attended programs, and we've distributed 500 craft kits!  A big thank you to our SAVE volunteer and TAG volunteers who helped make this possible.

The summer is not over yet, check our calendar for all the fun events we have going on in August.

Museum Passes

Enjoy your summer by visiting a museum or local attraction.  The Library helps make it affordable and easy through our museum pass program.  We have something for everyone.

Like art?  Borrow our pass for the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, The Museum of Fine Arts Boston, or the Fuller Craft Museum.  Want to get outside?  You can borrow a Massachusetts Park Pass, passes for zoos, or the New England Botanical Garden at Tower Hill.  Spending time with kids?  We have passes for the Boston Children's Museum, the Easton Children's Museum, The New England Aquarium, and The Museum of Science.

To reserve any of these passes or to see all of the passes available visit our website.

This program is funded by The Friends of the Library

Early Literacy Resource...

Miss Humblebee’s Academy   is an awarding winning site for teaching pre-literacy skills. It is designed for children in preschool through kindergarten based on the Common Core State Standards, and the Head Start Child Development and Early Learning Framework. Recommended for children ages 3 to 6.

This is a great resource to use during the summer to help kids prep for preschool or kindergarten.  Continue to use it during the school year to support their learning in a fun way.
