Auburn Chamber of Commerce Weekly Newsletter - April 17, 2023

Clubs and Organizations

April 20, 2023

From: Auburn Chamber of Commerce

Happy Spring Monday! Although it is a little cooler today it looks like after tomorrow this week is really warming up to be the wonderful Spring weather we all have been waiting for. Which is GREAT because we have a LOT going on. Wednesday we will be hosting our monthly Chamber 101 (hyperlink), Thursday we will have a table and I will be speaking down at the Placer Business Summit in Roseville AND we have a GREAT Monthly Networking Mixer at Crooked Lane.

Next week gets even crazier with Gold Country Pro Rodeo which starts on Wednesday at their Kick-Off at Auburn Chrystler Dodge Jeep Ram where we will be bartending and 3 full days into nights of Rodeo fun at the Fairgrounds and Pistol Pete's, The Ironman Canyons Race will be here Friday and Saturday and you can catch myself and other board members and ambassadors heading up the Lower Clementine Aid Station (if you are interested in helping we would LOVE help). I love this community not only for its beauty but for the bustle, there is ALWAYS something going on!

Gold Country Rodeo April 28-30th

The beautiful, historic city of Auburn has been hosting a rodeo for more than 90 years and we are thrilled to continue this tradition and add another performance, growing the rodeo to three days!

This year will feature a night time rodeo on Friday, and regular performances on Saturday and Sunday.

We kick off the Gold Country Pro Rodeo celebration at 6 pm Wednesday night with a dummy roping contest, free hot dogs, and more. The Official Rodeo Parties featuring live entertainment start Friday night after the rodeo.

The rodeo is fun for all ages and is held rain or shine! You don’t want to miss the thrilling excitement of professional bull riding, bronc riding, barrel racing, the Flying U Flying Cowboys and much more! So bring your family and friends and have some fun!
