Action Alert - Long-Term Care Program

In July, the state will again begin collecting payroll taxes for the WA Cares long-term care insurance program. AWB and other employer advocates are joining with organized labor and local governments to call on the governor and legislative leaders to fix the many problems with the program before the tax resumes.

AWB is drafting a letter to Gov. Inslee on behalf of the coalition, laying out 10 major fixes needed for problems such as:

- No portability of benefits
- Lack of a wage cap when determining premium payments
- Lack of a rolling opt-in and opt-out process

Click here to add your business's name to the letter.

Action Request - Puget Sound Gateway Coalition Sign-on Letter

View the letter to encourage our state leaders to ensure all aspects of the Puget Sound Gateway Project (the completion of state routes 167 and 509) continue as planned and currently budgeted.

Click here to add your name to the letter by 12 pm on Friday the 24th.
