Join Historic New England's Ken Turino and Otto Gallotto, President of the Haymarket Pushcart Association, for a presentation on the past, present, and future of Boston’s Market District.

Virtual: A Trip To The Dordogne Region Of France with The Traveling Librarian
Tuesday, November 22 @ 2pm
Also known as the Perigord, the area is focused on the meandering Dordogne River, which eventually passes the grand city of Bordeaux on its way to the Atlantic Ocean. With its distinctive cuisine, dramatic medieval castles and churches, and prehistoric caves and other monuments, the Dordogne is rich in history and French culture. 

Virtual: Boston Tabloid -- The Killing of Robin Benedict
Tuesday, November 22 @ 7pm
Boston Tabloid reconstructs a grisly murder, and explores one man's bizarre obsession. In revisiting this legendary crime, author Don Stradley consulted journalists involved in the media frenzy, prison authorities, arresting officers, and psychiatrists, all in an effort to unravel a most tangled story.

Ashland Moms - Little Crafters
for Ages 0 to 5
Monday, November 28 @ 10:15am

Caregivers are asked to participate with their children in this storytime and craft program. Attendance is limited for this program.

Lego Club
*For Ages 5 and Up
Thursday, December 1 @ 4pm

Each child will be given a box filled with an assortment of Lego blocks to build a creation using only what's inside the box within 45 minutes.

Family Movie: DC League of Super-Pets
*(Animated, Rated PG)
Saturday, December 3 @ 10:30am

Krypto the Super-Dog must convince a rag-tag shelter pack—a hound, potbellied pig, turtle and squirrel—to master their own newfound powers and help him rescue the Justice League.

The Friends of The Ashland Library

The next Friends book sale is a two day event! Friday, December 2nd from 6-8pm for Members Only (become a member on the spot!) and Saturday, December 3rd from 10-4pm. 

Then in 2023,  Friends Mini Book & Art Sale and Donation Day is moving to the 1st Saturday of the month from 10-1pm (next sale is Saturday, Jan 7th). Same great format - you can shop AND drop your books for donation off at the same time - just a bit earlier in the month. .

If you cannot make it at this time you can drop off small donations in the drop box that is in the lobby of the library.
