In 1993, our presenter -- David Ball -- organized a search in the Mojave Desert for parts from X-15 #3 which came apart in flight in 1967. Today he will share what made the X-15 the greatest research plane ever built and his theory on why one was lost.

Come to PJ Story Time today for a special event! Bring your stuffed animals with you and they will have a sleepover at the library. Who knows what crazy things they'll get up to?

Let's Draw Really Dumb Stupor Heroes with Rick Stromoski
*For Grades 5-8
Wednesday, April 19 @ 3:30pm

Learn to draw really dumb Stupor Heroes like Balloon Boy, Mosquito Girl, Hot Dog Man, Giraffe Woman, and Too Much Caffeine Man, with award winning cartoonist Rick Stromoski in this fun interactive virtual cartooning class. The presenter will be virtual, but the event will be IN-PERSON at the library.

Each child will be given a box filled with an assortment of Lego blocks to build a creation using only what's inside the box within the 45 minute time limit.

Children with some reading ability will have the chance to read to one of our registered therapy dogs for 10 minutes.

Come in your pajamas, and bring your favorite stuffed animals! We will read stories about a different stuffed animal every week.
