Old Shawnee Days

It's time to officially kick off summer with Old Shawnee Days! This beloved community event is BACK and ready to entertain you all weekend long. Come to downtown Shawnee any time from Thursday night to Sunday night to enjoy games, rides, live music, vendors at Shawnee Town, a petting zoo, and more. The annual parade will head through downtown Shawnee on Saturday morning, too! For a full list of rides, ticket prices, music lineups, and more, head to oldshawneedays.org. Farmers Market

Local farmers will be selling fresh produce from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the City Hall Parking Lot at 11110 Johnson Drive on Saturday, June 3. Head to cityofshawnee.org/farmersmarket for more information!

Hometown Hero Banners For Sale!

It's time to reserve your Hometown Hero banners! We are proud to honor our servicemembers with banners hung on Nieman and Johnson Drive in Downtown Shawnee August through November. You can find more information at cityofshawnee.org/hometownhero and buy one online, over the phone at (913) 742-6243, or in-person at the Shawnee Civic Centre located at 13817 Johnson Drive.

Kick off Old Shawnee Days weekend at the annual Bloody Mary Roll-Out Party on Wednesday, May 31 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Shawnee Town 1929, located at 11501 West 57th Street. This fundraiser is full of fun, delicious food and drinks, and a live auction! Head to shawneetown.org to learn more.
