Plan Ahead

How prepared are you this hurricane season? Although the Atlantic hurricane season starts in June and goes through November, the most active month is September. On average more major hurricanes hit Florida in September than in the other five months of hurricane season combined!

Make sure your emergency kit is fully stocked and you have a plan. Being ready for hurricanes and other disasters is easy to do and can make the whole ordeal much less scary for you and your loved ones.

We even have tips for pet owners to create a pet evacuation plan to lessen the chance of pets becoming lost or hurt prior to, during, and after a natural disaster.
