K9s at the Cove, Saturday, August 13

On our last day before draining the pool at Splash Cove, we are letting the dogs go for a dip! Space is limited and preregistration is required so reserve your spot now! Dogs of all sizes can swim at 7:15 a.m.; Dogs over 35 lbs can swim at 8:15 a.m.; dogs under 35 lbs can swim at 9:15 a.m., and dogs of all weights can swim at 10:15 a.m.! Dog Days of Summer, Saturday, August 13

Every dog has their day, and yours is no exception! Come on down to Shawnee Town 1929 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for dog-friendly vendors, splash pools, music, contests, and raffle prizes! There will even be a Dog Contest and Kansas City Disc Dogs demonstration! Shawnee Town 1929 is located at 11501 West 57th Street. Visit shawneetown.org for more information. 

Farmers Market, Saturday, August 13

Summer in Shawnee wouldn't be complete without our Saturday Farmers Market! Come by City Hall at 11110 Johnson Drive from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. to pick up some fresh produce for the week ahead. For more information, visit cityofshawnee.org/farmersmarket.
