The Bondurant Community Foundation invites artists of all ages to design and create their own Sidewalk Chalk Masterpiece at the 9th Annual Sidewalk Chalk Festival!

Registered artists will be assigned a 3'x3' section of sidewalk along the Chichaqua Valley Trail near the Bondurant Regional Trailhead Depot. Artists may arrive anytime throughout the day beginning at 9 a.m. to create their work of art. All artwork must be completed by 3 p.m.

Early registration is not required but is encouraged. Chalk will be provided on a first come, first serve basis and colors may be limited. You may bring your own chalk, but it must be washable. Registration will be available onsite, on July 15 at the Bondurant Trailhead Depot.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three artists in each division:
- Kid ages 2-7 - special award
- Youth ages 8-12 - first place $60
- Teen ages 13-18 - first place $100
- Adult 19+ - first place $300

A People's Choice Award will be voted on during the Bondurant Blues & Brews Festival. The winner will receive a prize and their artwork will be displayed on the next year's marketing materials.

Announcement of winners will take place during the Bondurant Blues & Brews Festival later that evening. You do not need to be present to win.

Works must be appropriate for public viewing. No words, symbols, or other images that may be offensive to others will be allowed. The event organizers reserve the right to ask an artist to stop and leave if this rule is not followed.
