The 3rd annual Arts and Crafts Festival is being organized by the Agawam Community Artists and Artisans. This program is supported in part by two grants, one from the Agawam Cultural Council a local agency, and one from the Massachusetts Cultural Council a state agency. Their generous help has made the show possible.

Mosaic Project
New England Mosaic Project Patterned after the Florida Keys Connections Project (pictured above), our New England version invites local community artists and artisans to each create a 6x6 canvas to be used as a tile in the creation of a New England Themed Mosaic. The finished canvas “tiles” will be raffled off with net proceeds funding scholarships for local art students. Be a part of this exciting and charitable project.

ACAA Art Drawing
Agawam Community Artists and Artisans Art Drawing Buy a ticket and you may win a piece of art created by our group. You do not have to be present to win. Proceeds will go to the GLORIA McLELLAN VISUALARTS SCHOLARSHIP which will help an aspiring high school senior majoring in Arts.

Free Face Painting
Free Face Painting Have your face painted... be a walking piece of ART.. We will have The Happy Face Painter onsite each day from 1:00 to 3:00 Christine Gloster has been a local professional face painter for 17 years. Her company has brightened up a long list of events from Festivals to Football games to Cruise Ships. They keep to a strict Hygienic process and only use the highest quality Hypoallergenic products. They love to work with children and see those Happy Faces.

Entertainment: JudyHandler and MarkLevesque
Enjoy an entertaining program of passionate & lyrical music for guitar and mandolin. Connecticut based husband and wife duo, Handler and Levesque skillfully blend Brazilian, Latin American, gypsy, folk, jazz & classical musical influences.

Food
The Polish American Club will be opening their onsite kitchen. They will be cooking up lots of delicious food. Grab a Burger or Hot Dog and have a seat on the picnic tables located in our shaded grove.

Childrens Crafts
Crafting Time Visit the Craft Tables and let the young ones create fun crafts. They can make a clothespin butterfly, bird, or bee also decorated eye masks. This is a free service provided with donated material and kind volunteers.

Stained Glass Demo
Please join stained glass artist Chris Lyons, owner of Glass Visions in Springfield MA, for a look at copper-foil stained glass art. He'll have art glass creations and glass & supplies available for view and sale and will be doing stained glass construction demos throughout the show. Come see what stained glass art is all about! Chris also offers a full set of stained glass classes (discount coupons provided) for those who want to learn the art form. Printing Demo
Come join Peter Sarno Master Printer and see a letterpress printing machine in action. This type of printing goes back to 1440 and was used to print the Gutenburg Bible. Today it is valued for the unique tactile feel and quality of the impression left embedded in the paper.

Agawam Rocks
Rock Painting Craft Table We supply the material for you to have fun creating a painted rock. Family bonding time for all ages.. Agawam Rocks was created by Jen Baginski in memory of her brother. She set out to honor him by spreading kindness throughout Agawam. There has been a positive response to painting rocks and hiding them to be found and hidden again. The Facebook page has 1.3 thousand members. Anyone can paint a rock to bring home but you must live, work, or go to Agawam Parks to join the Facebook group.
