Join us for the 27th annual Art in Wilder Park. As featured on the cover of Elmhurst Living, this highly anticipated event is an Elmhurst tradition and the first outdoor Spring festival in the western suburbs each year. The free two-day event drew over 11,500 visitors in 2023 with over 130 booths of artists selling one-of-a-kind jewelry, paintings, sculptures, ceramics, prints, fiber arts, and mouth watering treats from local food vendors.

This year will feature the debut of a new public art installation Monsters in Wilder Park by artist and illustrator Dave Pryor. His 6 large-scale cut-out sculptures were inspired by select monster drawings submitted by over 300 local children. The public art installation, scavenger hunt, and hands-on activities hosted by the museum present an even larger, more inclusive, and accessible event for the whole family to promote this summer's exhibition Designing Donkey Hodie.

Art in Wilder Park 2023 featured booths by over 80 Midwest artists, 10 nonprofits, 10 food vendors, 10 Kids Court participants, and 20 other local business partners. The two-day event was voted one of the Best in the West, featured in numerous press outlets, and attracted nearly half of its visitors from outside Elmhurst. See a 2023 event map and list of exhibitors.
