Join us for the 24th Annual Hallowfest at Ponca State Park!

Activity schedule (Each Saturday)

9–11am: Archery in the Eric Wiebe Shooting Complex. $1 for 6 arrows; all equipment is provided.

1pm: Bowling with pumpkins down a hillside, through an obstacle course, and competing for distance. Prizes will be awarded to the top three longest rolls in four age groups. In between the youth and adult divisions, we will have a pet costume contest.

1–3pm: Pumpkin carving contest. All pumpkins must be purchased and carved on location within the allotted timeframe to qualify. $5 per pumpkin. Pumpkin carving judging will begin at 3 p.m. One prize will be awarded to the best design in three age categories. All ages are welcome to participate in the Pumpkin Roll and Carving Contest.

5:30pm: Don’t forget – if you are staying at Ponca State Park, there is a campsite and cabin decorating contest! Judging will start at 5:30 p.m. A sign placed in the yard indicates winners. Prizes for the campsite and cabin decorating contest can be picked up at the Resource and Education Center on Sunday.

7pm: Haunted Hayrack Rides As the sun starts to set, the spooks come out to play! Reservations are required for Hayrack Rides and can be made by calling Ponca State Park on MONDAY, OCTOBER 3, starting at 8 a.m. Tickets for the Haunted Hayrack Rides sell out quickly for both weekends.

A valid state park vehicle entry permit is required.
