We're excited to announce that we'll have Free live music throughout the weekend, featuring special guests Mighty Mcfly and Bryce Leatherwood, winner of The Voice Season 22. Get ready to dance and sing along to their hits, and make memories that will last a lifetime.

The Uniquely Union Festival is proudly in its 23rd year of serving the community and opening our city to guests from near and far. After many years as a BBQ cook off contest the Uniquely Union Festival Board felt it was time to expand its reach. In 2013 the festival saw many changes. Some of those changes included a venue change, a rebranding (so that the face of our festival would reflect our intent), another change was to expand and diversify. It is our desire that all members of your family can come and find something that appeals to them. Dad can come out and participate in the Taster's Choice portion of the BBQ Cook Off while Mom shops at the unique specialty shops that line our historic Main Street or one of the merchandise crafters that are on "Specialty Row". The kids will have plenty to do in their own areas designated especially for them in the Kidz Zone and Teen Zone.

BBQ Cook Off

The 23rd Annual Uniquely Union Festival Barbeque Cook-Off is presented by the Uniquely Union Festival Board. This year's festival will be held Friday, September 15th and Saturday, September 16th, 2023 in Downtown Union. The Uniquely Union Festival Barbeque Cook-Off is an SBN sanctioned event. You can find the SBN Guidelines enclosed in your packet. Awards will include Grand Champion, and Reserve Grand Champion.

September 15th, 2023

Teams will be allowed to begin setting up at 8 a.m. Friday morning September, 15th.
The Cooker's Meeting will be held at 4:00 p.m. in Main Street Junction, 107 East Main Street, Union, SC.
The turn in time for the Anything **** competition will be Friday at 6:30 PM. for Savory and 7:30 p.m. for Sweet.
Opening Ceremony will take place on the Main Stage at 8:00 p.m. Please make every effort to be present for this as all teams will be recognized.

The Taster's Choice Competition will begin at Noon.

Mullets, Wings, Curls, Waves, Dreads, Afros, Mohawks or whatever you got - come show it off!

Be the first guy to win the Uniquely Union best hair and all the bragging rights!
