Join us on May 1st at 6 PM in the Hinde Auditorium on the campus of Sacramento State for Our Stories Matter, a live event in which storytellers will take the stage and share their true personal stories in front of an audience. All of our storytellers for the evening identify as Asian or Asian American, and we are excited to honor and celebrate our Asian Pacific Islander Desi community in Sacramento at this event. You won’t want to miss this unforgettable night of community and connection and the chance to listen to stories and walk in another’s shoes. Storytellers for the evening include Jasjeet Dhanota, Hang Hoang, LanPhuong Nguyen, Jomari Fernandez, and Vivien Narcisa Triano. This event is hosted in partnership with the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Center of Sacramento State and sponsored by Capital Public Radio.
