Artist: Tana Oshima

Tana Oshima is a Japanese-Spanish self-taught visual artist living in NYC. Born in Kanagawa, Japan, she was first a writer in her mother tongue, Spanish, then started drawing and painting a few years back. She has self-published more than ten zines and translated contemporary female Japanese literature from Japanese (her other mother tongue) into Spanish. She teaches art to children to make ends meet and has exhibited nationally.
