Memorial Day Ceremony

A tribute to our fallen heroes

Niles Memorial VFW Post 3579, Vietnam Veterans of America and the Village of Niles will be holding the annual Memorial Day Ceremony to honor all the men and woman who have made the ultimate sacrifice.  All are welcome to attend this free event, ceremony begins promptly at 11:00 am at the Niles Veterans Memorial Waterfall at Touhy and Milwaukee Avenue.

Road Closure and Traffic Notice 

To accommodate the ceremony, Milwaukee Avenue will be closed from Harts Road to Touhy Avenue from 10:30 AM – 12:00 Noon. Traffic will be rerouted to Franks Avenue. Parking is available Walsh Academy (6935 W. Touhy Avenue) and the Niles Public Works Facility (6849 W. Touhy Avenue).
