The Chamber Music Society of Central Virginia ushers in the spring with the fabulous, soul-searching, thought-provoking music of J. S. Bach.
Harpsichordist Carsten Schmidt returns to the beautiful space of Holy Comforter Episcopal Church and plays a recital of Bach's fugues and suites. The program will be played on a reproduction of an easrly-18th century harpsichord made by Michael Mietke, an instrument on which Bach would have composed his famous Brandenburg concertos.
