The Renaissance Festival is a medieval outdoor amusement park, a 16-stage theatre, a 50-acre circus, an arts and crafts fair, a Jousting Tournament, and a feast, all rolled into one non-stop, day-long, family adventure.

The Renaissance Festival is Arizona's winter destination for quality entertainment!

The village comes to life with costumed characters recreating a 16th century marketplace, including the Queen and her court. In addition, the 16 Festival stages have ongoing performances by Festival favorites.

Queen Katherine and the House of Exeter:

Queen Katherine & the Royal Family of the House of Exeter are arriving for their annual visit to Fairhaven and the village is buzzing with excitement! The Master of the Revels has planned a Festival celebration like no other with Jousting, Falconry, feasting and much much more!

The Jousters! - Aventail Productions:

The Age of Chivalry is Alive! You will be amazed by the spectacle of two tons of horse, knight, and armor galloping onto the field and preparing to do battle with ten-foot lances. Spectators will revel in the melee of falls, fights, and galloping horses. Cheer for your knight in the 5,000 seat arena of champions as they battle for the highest score in the original sport of Kings!

The Jousters! ignite all the spectacle and pageantry of the chivalric age. Armored knights compete in a three-part jousting tournament in a true test of skill, courage and horsemanship.

Each joust is unique and an authentic quest for victory…until the end of the final joust, where tempers flare and they perform a realistic recreation of a fight to the death!

Jousting Tournaments are held three times a day!

When the joust is over, stop by and meet your champion and his steed at the arena entry!

Adam Crack, Fire Whip Show:

From musical whips and exploding soda cans to flaming whips it is easy to see why Adam holds multiple Guinness World Records. All ages will be impressed by his amazing skills, Adam truly is a Whip Master.

Allen-a-Dale:

Minstrel and fiddler that plays a variety of Renaissance fiddle tunes.

The Ancient Art of Falconry:

A variety of birds-of-prey, some endangered, display the unique skills that enraptured nobles long ago and made falconry the sport of kings.

The Angels:

The Angels (Heroines in Disguise) are a singing, sword-fighting, comedy adventure show! These outrageous characters are on a mission to empower and entertain as each tale they tell contains a heartfelt message cleverly wrapped in witty innuendo, geeky puns, and glorious shenanigans. Come join the fun as the Angels fight for what's right - and put the lewd back in ludicrous.

Barely Balanced:

They're back, diving through fire, hurling machetes, and testing the limits of natural selection! Don't miss seeing your favorite acrobats endanger their lives in this hilarious, award winning show. The day starts with their "Sharp Knives and Stupid Humans" and ends with the incredible "Fiery Extravaganza". Come laugh, cheer, and become a part of the action!

Bathos the Muse:

We deeply mourn the passing of Eddie Jeff Cahill.

When the Festival opened 36 years ago Bathos was there performing beautiful music in our village and he has been part of every season since. His warm and gentle spirit will forever be missed.

Bovine de Hunchback Troll:

Come find this crooked, cranky, ole hunchback trolling and squeaking the lanes! He wants to warn you now, "Beware of the P!”

Celtic Reenactment Organization of Fellowship & Trades (C.R.O.F.T.):

Our goal is to promote fellowship while researching the lifestyles and trades appropriate to the Celtic Peoples from 400 BC until 1746 AD. CROFT promotes a feeling of family and fellowship which was a reality in earlier times. CROFT is a family-oriented and kid-friendly organization.

The Circus Siren Pod - Live Mermaids!

Meet the world-famous mermaids of the Circus Siren Pod, recently featured in the Netflix show Merpeople. The Circus Siren Pod is a group of professional water artists who perform across the country and internationally. They bring a magical show to audiences of all ages. Transported to our village by a friendly pirate crew who stands by to educate you about all things mermaid, witness the wonder of these magical merfolk, and maybe even leave with a real pearl!

Cirque du Sewer:

You may recognize the trained rats, cats, and acro-human of Cirque du Sewer from their feature on “ Ripleys Believe It or Not?”, or from their national and international tv appearances, including a standing ovation and multiple rounds on America’s Got Talent. But watching them live at a renaissance faire is even more thrilling because we can’t edit out when cats are jerks! Melissa combines her skills with the talents of her rescue animals, creating complicated obstacle courses for the rats, dancing with cats, and balancing upside down on a half-inch slack rope.

Comedius de Marbelous - Living Statue:

There are many Living Statues, but there is Only one Lively Statue and his name is Comedius de Marbleous. Keep an eye out for this Living Marble Marvel. He has an aversion to pigeons, but he's not camera shy at all. He's all about photo ops with young, old, and those as ancient as he (he was sculpted in 1457).

The CRAIC Show:

This Celtic barbarian band of minstrels features roguish vocals, rhythmic bouzouki, harmonizing violin, thunderous percussion and medieval bagpipes. The CRAIC Show is a fresh, high energy, heavy medieval good time! See them on the Mêlée Stage.

The Danseries:

Performing historical dances from royal courts of the Renaissance, the troupe recreates the dances of old. The dances performed range from round dances that include children to intricate couples’ dances designed to woo. The Danseries can teach you courtly dances of the era, feel Free to watch or join in the fun!

Ded Bob Sho:

Join Ded Bob, his dog, and his dummy Sluj for some laughs and old school shenanigans. Above ground for Only 4 sho's a day. Come see why Bobs Ded-Pan comedy has been killing since the early 14th century.

Diva Alaura - Sorceress of Song:

Spend a moment with Diva Alaura and be mesmerized by her unique voice as she proffers a repertoire of lilting songs from yore to present day. Sorceress of Song enchants many with her foreign tales of magic, tragedy, and love. She will also amaze you with her graceful movements using various exotic dance props.

Don Juan and Miguel:

The charming Prince of Spain and his faithful man servant have traveled to Fairhaven as ambassadors from their native land. The great swordsman and master of the whip will amaze and amuse with tales of the duo’s many adventures.

Don Quixote - Reimagined:

Don Quixote, reimagined, combines the world famous elements of Cervantes’ classic novel with an upbeat comic twist. Positive, energetic, and kid-accessible; he patrols the lanes protecting patrons from giants, dragons, and monsters. Don't be surprised if he enlists your help to serenade someone, attack a monster disguised as a rock or tree, or perform a noble deed in the honor of Lady Dulcinea!

Dora Viellette:

Dora Viellette will take you through time with an intriguing array of music on the hurdy gurdy, and will happily tell you her favorite music history facts for good measure! From classics of the Medieval and Renaissance to traditional Celtic and Folk favorites, her blend of sounds and songs will tempt your ears, make you want to stay for a spell, and leave you wanting to hear more.

Dream Hayven Farm:

Welcome to the farm! Come experience a part of history that bridges the gap between olden days and modern agriculture. A family farm that travels to Fairhaven with their entourage of friendly and diverse animals that love to meet new people. Visit the farm to pet and get pictures with all the animals, including the Unicorn!

Fairhaven Morris Dancers:

Bells! Axe Handles! Razor-sharp handkerchiefs! See this locally-based English Folk Dance troupe. Morris Dancing is a proud English tradition and they love performing traditional dances with a 'Fairhaven' spin. Morris may be their specialty but keep a look out for their Hobby Horse, Danse Macabre and Abbot's Bromley Horn Dance, all during the Festival day!

The Feast Masters - Captain Rook and Grace O’Malley:

Meet the Feast masters at the legendary Pleasure Feast, a limited attendance special event held twice daily each festival day at the Feast Hall. But fair warning - Pirates have taken over the hall, so every dish and drink will be seasoned with a side of wicked, bawdy humor. Toss in surprise entertainment throughout your meal and you have yourself a raucous good time!

Fireflicker the Dragon:

Fireflicker is a curious young dragon who wanders the streets of the festival looking for shiny things to hoard, and is always excited to meet all the knights and princesses of the realm. They may even share some dragon gold with those who also have magic in their hearts!

World Music and Dance:

Ghazaal Beledi is a world fusion belly dance troupe with choreographies ranging from Middle Eastern belly dance, East Indian Bhangra, Bollywood and Rajasthani, to Irish dance, Spanish-influenced skirt and fan dances, and to props such as sword and fire, Ghazaal Beledi is a high-energy fusion of passion, music and fun!

The Green Man:

Watch for Cliff Spenger's Green Man as it is a delight to behold. Equal parts mythical and environmental, the Green Man is a great opportunity for family tree photos.

Harpist Sarah Marie Mullen:

Sarah has been delighting audiences for years as a touring and recording artist. Her masterful playing and innovative arrangements have made her a favorite all over the country. Combining a personal, playful style of performance that often blends music with storytelling, she has been called “a master at her craft who brings a bit of whimsy to the typically serious instrument”.

Harrom the Sage:

Harrom the sage travels with his exotic didgeridoos, and numerous percussion instruments to inspire joyous dancing, and reconnection with joy, and revelry. He works his magic to co-create an environment suitable for ecstatic expressions of movement, toe-tapping and head-bobbing.

Hey Nunnie Nunnie:

Mother Redempta and Sister Philomenia of the Sisterhood of the Wailing Souls have come to offer counsel to the visitors to the village. In their reverently irreverent way they will have you wailing with laughter.

Iron Hill Vagabonds:

Rousing pub songs, dancing fiddle tunes, and ballads that will pluck at your heartstrings, all delivered with tight sibling harmonies. The traditional Irish music of Iron Hill Vagabonds, will be sure to bring a joy that may last a lifetime.

Jamila Lotus Dance Canivale:

The Jamila Lotus Dance Carnivale performs original choreography and daring feats of skill, featuring the live music of their dynamic Band of Eternal Souls!

Jeremiah Wiggins Faerie Lore Magician:

Magician, storyteller, and human ambassador to the faerie realm. While Jeremiah seems to be a human fantasy jukebox, his true agenda is educating folk in the needs of the little people and getting himself elected again. He is recognizable by his very large mushroom, the smallest stage in the shire. If you don’t believe in faeries before you have met Wiggins, you most likely will after!

Jeremy Graeff, Troubadour:

Jeremy Graeff has travelled far and wide collecting Medieval and Renaissance songs. Every show is an adventure through the magical melodies and bewitching ballads of the European past! Joining Jeremy for his first season at Arizona Renaissance Festival is the talented multi-instrumentalist Mark Williams who has performed at the Festival previously!

Juggling Geoff:

A showman who is devoted to expanding upon the wonderment of children and adults, Juggling Geoff! He is a juggler, physical comedian, puppeteer, international champion street performer and variety entertainer that is both mesmerizing and enchanting. Lady Prudence:

Lady Prudence, the Court Composer, sings Songs for All Occasions! Prepare to join the band with percussion for a peppy tune, or relax to a dulcet lullaby with lilting harp and sweet soprano. Meet her under her tree near the Royal Pavilion for a bit of song and to earn her Favour.

The Langer’s Ball:

This two-piece Irish Folk-punk band, has been writing, touring and performing for over 15 years. Playing their own brand of traditional pub songs and original material, their sound is harder-hitting and bigger than you’d expect it ever could be. With a thumping beat and a flurry of notes and harmonies, you’ll dash to fill your mug and cheer for more.

London Broil Show:

The Moral Compass:

The Moral Compass challenge all to bring their own Divine Knowledge to the totally-not-rigged improv comedy game show… TICKET TO PARADISE! Hosted by the man best described as "unqualified with the best intentions", Cardinal Guido Consigliere, and featuring the surprisingly outgoing anchoresses, Winnifred and Dirt, the Deep Friar himself, Solomon Gris, and a slew of surprise clergymen. It's the biggest knowledge drop since Eve ate the apple!

Pirouette the Magical Dancer:

Pirouette the Magical Dancer lives in a Magical Music Box and brings to life a world of wonder for kids, and kids at heart. Visit her music box to witness Pirouette spring to life and dance and spin before your eyes! Share a dance with her if you would like, and if you're lucky she might just reach right into the sky and gift you a Magical Star of Bravery!

Primrose the Fairy:

Primrose is Twig’s fairy best friend and like Twig, she travels the Land of Real spreading joy and magic!

This brisk, energetic act takes audiences on a jolly trip on a pirate ship manned by pups. Always a favorite, audiences will be blown away by this merry band of mutts and will watch with baited breath to see if Poochie will really walk the plank.

Query the Riddlemaster:

Do you enjoy wordplay that twists your mind and tickles your fancy? Query shares riddles, puzzles, and stories for all ages. Tarry for a moment, or an hour, and let him delight and entertain you with thought-provoking riddles delivered in a bardic style.

Rambling Sailors:

Both successful soloists in their own right, Gregg Csikos and Susan Hickey performed for over a decade individually before meeting and forming Rambling Sailors. Now with their combined experiences of music and sailing, a repertoire of hundreds of songs, and harmonies that please the ear and lift the spirit, Rambling Sailors is on a mission to bring traditional sea music, history and stories to the stage, delivered in the style that inspired generations of sailors to go to sea.

The Raven:

This black feathered bird man, flies on top of a ball. He swoops down and invites the audience into his world of “eggs-traordinary” magic. The Raven has been flying over crowds across the country for nearly 30 years.

From the hills and the seas come The Reelin’ Rogues, a bardic band of rebels committed to upholding the monuments of the Celts just as they have been handed down throughout history, in song. Shamus the Insulter:

Shamus wanders the lanes offering his impressive services as a professional insulter. His fabulously pointed barbs will leave you laughing long after he has disappeared!

Tortuga Twins:

Outrageously unpredictable and unstoppably hilarious, these three “Twins” tell tales and create laughter by making the audience the star of the show. The Robin Hood and Snow White shows were written to be fun for the whole family. Big Bad Wolf and Captain Morgan are “PG” fun and for the very bold, the R-rated Sword Fighting and Stupidity show is sure to titillate and never disappoint.

Twig the Fairy:

Twig is a curious, lively woodland sprite who embodies childlike innocence and wonder. Her bashful mannerisms and graceful flitting movement create a whimsical space that she warmly invites everyone to share.

The Twinstrels:

Twin minstrels Snickety von Scurvy and Sforza von Sumption love nothing more than making great music together! Bringing a mix of traditional folk melodies and their own unique compositions to the festival, this sibling duo is sure to put a smile on your face!

Washing Well Wenches:

Love, Laugh, Launder... Repeat. Doing the laundry has never been so much fun! Come for some good clean fun with two wet, dirty women! Gerty and Sprout will be putting men to work for a full half hour, giving the ladies of the Village a well-deserved break. Bring your beer and someone special... or just bring your beer. And remember, what happens at the washpit, stays at the washpit."

The Wyld Men:

The Wyld Men present a hilarious, fun-for-all ages feast for the imagination that stands alone in the comedic landscape.
