Once again, Historic Gulf Cemetery will host its annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday at 10AM sharp. The 109-year-old cemetery is located at 1466 S County Highway 393 in Santa Rosa Beach. Approximately 160 veterans are interred in the cemetery. Folks are encouraged to bring umbrellas and/or personal lawn chairs. A limited number of folding chairs will be provided. This ceremony is a wonderful opportunity for the entire family to join in a dignified, respectful, and patriotic tribute to the men and women who served our country in the Armed Forces and paid the ultimate sacrifice for freedom.

The Gulf Cemetery Association is pleased to announce that in conjunction with this year’s Memorial Day ceremony, it will sponsor the Some Gave All Memorial coming to Santa Rosa Beach throughout the Memorial Day Weekend 2024. This memorial pays tribute to those fallen in conflicts from the first Gulf War til present day. This traveling memorial stands as a reminder of the great sacrifices made in the war on terror. Special thanks to our wonderful neighbors at the Chapel at Crosspoint who have so graciously agreed to host the memorial in their parking lot, which is located at 1477 S Co Hwy 393, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459.
