The Winchester Youth Service Bureau, WYSB has been in existence for over 40 years serving at-risk youth and families in the communities of Barkhamsted, Colebrook, Hartland, New Hartford, Norfolk, Winchester, and Torrington in the summer.

We are thankful to be able to offer a broad scope of services with one focused mission: to provide advocacy, education, and intervention for at-risk youth and their families to help them reach their full potential. Some of the ways we work to accomplish this mission are by hosting pro-social and peer support groups, a diversionary juvenile justice program, and a summer day camp called Rising Star Camp. These programs give struggling youth in our communities a safe, caring, and supportive place to grow and learn.
