The Gideons International started distributing the Word of God in 1908. Today, they have more than 300,000 members  ... Internationally. This site is dedicated to informing you of what I have found out about who Gideons actually are, what they  do, and how you can help, if the Spirit leads.

Ask the general public what a Gideon does and and you'll probably get the answer ..."They leave Bibles in hotel rooms" if they have even even heard of the Gideons. The "Hotel  Ministr " is a valuable part of our ministry, but it's only a part of the Gideon story. Some would say that we send Bibles overseas to people who may not have even heard of Jesus, and here again we do but... Were you aware that in the months of September and October of 2013 the Gideons of Northwest Arkansas have handed out over nine thousand Bibles in Benton and Washington Counties alone?   Were you aware that this wouldn't have been possible  without the help of our local Church partners. If your Church hasn't had a Gideon  appeal this year please consider letting us make a short presentation, and we'll let God do the rest.  We need your help if we are to carry on with this level of commitment to our local effort, and world wide reach.

With 300,000 members around the world  you can imagine the stories the Gideon's members hear. Stories of lost hope, health and acceptance.  God in His infinite wisdom has left us with the answer to all these problems... Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior!   Since 1908 The Gideons have been carrying Christ's story, to those in need, and as today's headlines testify, the need is still great! Wont you help us help you to...  Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. 

The success stories over the years bring glory to our Lord and renewed dedication in each Gideon to continue the effort to reach more people with God's Word.  We humbly seek your help in our efforts.
