Springfield Art Guild

SAG is a non-profit group that serves the community’s interest in fine arts, crafts, and photography. We sponsor educational programs, art exhibits, juried shows, classes for adults and children, art scholarships for high school students, and local art tours and events.  Along with showcasing speakers at monthly meetings, SAG invites everyone in our community to enjoy wide exposure and enjoyment of SAG’s online newsletter, its website, its online members’ gallery, and links to members’ Web pages.  By joining SAG, local artists can participate in the full range of SAG activities, network with other artists, and help promote and enlarge our service to SAG members and the community at large.

SAG was founded over 30 years ago by Yolande Frost and  Judy Wengrovitz,.  SAG is a non-profit group interested in promoting an interest in fine art and fine crafts through educational programs, juried shows, and classes for adults and children.  SAG seeks to develop artistic appreciation in the community by providing scholarships for high school students, exhibiting art, co-sponsoring an annual  New York  trip, as well as local tours, and publishing a monthly newsletter.
