Our Mission

Shannock Baptist Church has a three-fold mission which we seek to carry out in all aspects of our church ministry. That mission is: The Evangelization of Souls (Mark 16:15)—it is our burden to see people put their trust in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior from sin. The Edification of Saints (Ephesians 4:11-16)—we desire to see believers being built up in the faith and growing in their walk with Christ in all areas of their lives. The Exaltation of the Savior (I Peter 2:5,9)—our ultimate purpose in life is to uplift and worship our Savior, Who created us for His glory.
