Becoming a member of the Port Madison Community Shellfish Farm means more than receiving deliveries of oysters; it means becoming involved in helping to create a healthier Puget Sound. Growing shellfish has many environmental benefits including improved water quality, species diversity and eelgrass growth. In fact, a single oyster can filter 20 gallons of water a day.
