We are always looking for new members and ideas on how we can serve our community. 

Currently we have one event planned for April 28th that we would like to invite everyone to attend

Plainview VFW to Celebrate Loyalty Day April 28^th

The annual Plainview Loyalty Day observance held by Fisher/Law VFW Post 8525 and the Auxiliary will be held this year on Friday April 28^th.

Loyalty Day has become a tradition with the Veterans of Foreign Wars throughout the United States and VFW Post 8525 in Plainview has participated observance for over twenty years.

It is a day set aside for Americans to reaffirm their love and loyalty to the flag and respect for our country.  A parade will begin at 1:00 at the VFW and proceed to the Plainview City Park where a flag raising ceremony will take place.  Other activities will follow.

Classes from local schools, business, other organizations, political officials are encouraged to participate and enter floats in the parade.  Cash prizes will be awarded to float participants.
