The Independence County Shooting Sports Complex was created through funding and cooperation of several agencies and individuals. Partnerships and donations from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, City of Batesville, Independence County and private donors made this range possible.

The complex is made up of three skeet and five trap fields, a 12 station stationary archery field, as well as three pavilions. The complex consists of a 1200 square foot club house/office, and a new state of the art 1200 square foot education center that consists of the latest technology equipment including digital projection system and Dry Fire clay shooting simulator.

The education center provides a generous meeting area for up to 25 persons and the club house portion serves as the office and club house for the complex. The center is available for rent by individuals for outdoor related activities.  The education was made possible by a generous gift from the Witt and Carol Stephens Charitable Trust. The new 1200 square foot technology center was made possible by GIF Funding.
