Purpose Statement
Crossings Community Church exists to go and make disciples; developing them into fully devoted followers of Christ. (Matthew 28:19-20)
Vision
We believe that Crossings Community Church exists for the purpose of making disciples and helping them to become fully devoted followers of Christ. In order to fulfill this purpose, we believe that God will bless the Church with outstanding growth in the following areas over the next five years:
MINISTRY – Our growing church family is becoming more diverse. It is necessary to expand our current ministries to meet the unique needs of the individuals in our church. We will accomplish this through Scripture-based programs that will be relevant to seekers as well as to growing Christians. We will offer a variety of programs that will focus on personal needs, specific topics and Bible study. We believe that God will provide us with people who are passionate about leading new ministries in areas such as Worship, Young Adults, Small Groups, Missions, Senior Adults, Couples, and Single Parents.
CHURCH FAMILY – The size of the Crossings’ family has expanded significantly. This growth has enabled the church to develop a sense of community. We believe that God’s plan and intention is that this expansion will continue as we reach individuals and families of all ages.
STAFF – As our ministry needs continue to expand, it is obvious that we will have a need for a larger full-time staff to partner with our Senior Pastor. We believe that God will bless the church with full-time pastors in the areas of worship, youth, children, discipleship, and outreach.
FACILITIES – As our church family continues to grow and our ministries expand, our facility is no longer adequate to meet the needs of our current worship, fellowship, and educational programs. We believe that God is directing us to build a new facility that will accommodate these needs and allow for continued growth.
