The Centerpoint School District was formed in 1995 by the merging of the Amity and Glenwood school districts. Serving children in both towns, as well as parts of Pike, Clark, Hot Springs, and Garland counties, the district boundary begins at the southern tip of the majestic Ouachita Mountains in western Arkansas, encompasses 18 miles of the Caddo River, and borders the western shoreline of Lake Degray. In addition to the benefit of quiet, country living, the district truly resides at the center point of the best of what southwest Arkansas has to offer.
