Mission:

Our mission is to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

We provide response to disaster victims, emergency communications for military families, preparedness information, international tracing services, and training in first aid, CPR and water safety. We also collect and distribute life-saving blood products.

About Us:

The American Red Cross of Northwest Missouri is one of three chapters comprising the Western Missouri Region.

Headquartered in St. Joseph, the Northwest Missouri chapter covers 18 counties. In Missouri those counties are Andrew, Atchison, Buchanan, Caldwell, Clinton, Daviess, DeKalb, Gentry, Grundy, Harrison, Holt, Livingston, Mercer, Nodaway and Worth. The Kansas counties covered are Atchison, Doniphan and Leavenworth.
