Light, Ice and Fire Exposition

Look on as artists transform blocks of ice into intricate masterpieces  and be mesmerized by the creative ways light is used by nationally recognized light artists. Warm up next to stunning fire pits and sculptures handcrafted by regional artists, while listening to live music!

Polymery

Polymery is an installation of five sculptures that cast light and shadow far and wide. During the day, the flower-like pods invite the viewer to look upwards to see warped reflections of the environment. At night, the flowers ‘bloom’ into a larger installation.

Friday Live Music:

Hell's Belles - 8:30pm

HELL'S BELLES - committed, ferocious, meticulous women rock musicians delivering authentic AC/DC to the unbelievably supportive and wicked awesome fans. All day and all night long, all over the world, pitch perfect AC/ DC delivered with a highly charged vigor.

Precious Byrd - 7pm

Precious Byrd is one of the most sought after bands in the Pacific Northwest. This funky rock n’ roll dance band will make any event take flight! Their fresh renditions of

modern and classic hits, along with a number of high energy originals are sure to fill the dance floor and

get people on their feet!

Tony Smiley - 5:30pm

The songs of Tony Smiley are a tantalizing ride through electro acoustic music that will cause your musical senses to rise. During the experience you can expect original soul bearing songs, improv crowd pleasers, and creative cover mixes. 

Saturday Live Music:

Chingy - 8:30pm

Chingy, who single handedly influenced cultural slang with “thurr” and “hurr” following the smash Billboard Hot 100 hit “Right Thurr,” achieved superstardom success with seven other Hot 100 hits, including “Holidae In,” “One Call Away” and many more. An actor and philanthropist, Chingy, achieved rapid mainstream success with the release of his triple-Platinum RIAA certified debut album, Jackpot.

MOsley WOtta - 7pm

MOsley WOtta/ MOWO is an American Artist and Creative from Rogers Park, Chicago Illinois. His move to Central Oregon in 1992 has continued to influence and inform the diversity of mediums and media he explores in his work traversing the ecology of conversation in his paintings, writings and performances. 

Leadbetter Band - 5:30pm

Leadbetter Band was born after the final closing chapters of Jive Coulis in the early winter of 2017. In a sense it was a “re-branding” of Jive Coulis. Eric's original songs played in LB are vast and diverse, from a classic rock sound to bluesy heavy jam sections featuring the Bands unique improv abilities.

Each Perfomance Demonstrates The Amazing Athleticism Of These Amazing Working Dogs.

Kids & adults get a chance to throw a frisbee to one of the famous dogs.

The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry Science (OMSI) will bring a collection of hands-on brainteasers challenge visitors to think both critically and creatively.

Grab a cup of cocoa and a blanket and take in the stunning views of the snowy Cascade Mountains from the top of the ferris wheel!

Carnival Rides at Oregon WinterFest

Take a spin on the Merry-Go-Round or journey up to the skies in a ferris wheel. Rides will be offered at an extra cost all weekend long. Grab a cup of cocoa and a blanket and take in the stunning views of the snowy Cascade Mountains from the top of the ferris wheel!

Ready to add some sweet, chocolaty fun to your WinterFest experience? We’ve got something special lined up for all you runners out there – the exhilarating Hot Cocoa Run!

Race Details: Lace up your running shoes and get set for a thrilling 5K run through the winter wonderland of Bend. But here’s the twist – come dressed in your quirkiest, funniest, or most creative costume! 

After crossing the finish line, indulge in a steaming hot cocoa bar adorned with all your favorite toppings. And to add that extra kick of delight, a splash of Crater Lake spirits awaits

Includes a custom mug, full hot cocoa bar and more goodies at the finish!

Kid's Mini Marshmallow Run

Join us for this winter themed PacificSource Kids Rock the Races!

Costumes are encouraged!

Kids will run from station to station collecting cocoa ingredients, and as they cross the finish line they will get the final touch — a splash of hot chocolate and a finisher ribbon! This event will leave the little runners feeling like they rule the world!

Cost to register is included with admission!

Food and Libations at WinterFest

Food cart pods and mini bars scattered throughout will satiate any and all cravings. Alcoholic beverage brands will be 10 Barrel, Avid, Crater Lake and wine.

Food carts span across all regions and flavors – Greek, pizza, BBQ, dumplings, falafel and more!
